In this workshop we introduce a model of EI based on the Emotional Quotient Inventory 2.0 (EQ-i 2.0™), which is comprised of five elements: Self Perception, Self-Expression, Interpersonal Skills, Decision Making and Stress Management. We then offer skills development exercises focused on areas that link particularly strongly to leadership such as self-actualization (pursuit of meaning and self-improvement), interpersonal relationships, empathy, problem-solving, flexibility and optimism.
Delegates also have the opportunity to complete their own EQ-i 2.0™, receive feedback from an accredited EQ-i 2.0™ Coach and develop a plan for developing their EI strengths.
FORMAT: 1-2 day workshop, plus optional one-to-one coaching.

Whilst there are many different definitions of authentic leadership, most theorists agree that authentic leaders do the following: they show their true selves at work; they're happy to share their mistakes or weaknesses; they're able to put the mission and the goals of the organization ahead of their own self-interest; they do the job in pursuit of results and benefits to people.
This course explores the essence of Authentic Leadership, including the importance of ethical decision-making. The model we use is based on the work of Robert Goffee and Gareth R. Jones, published in their book: Why Should Anyone Be Led by You?: What It Takes to Be an Authentic Leader.
FORMAT: 2 day workshop with optional one-to-one coaching

In more advanced sessions we demonstrate techniques for building self-confidence and coaching people through the stages of change for sustainable improvements in performance. The techniques we teach are derived from well-established practices from Life Coaching, Performance Coaching and Cognitive Behavioural Coaching (CBC).
The competencies we teach are based on the International Coach Federation's (ICF) core competency framework: ICF Core Competencies.
FORMAT: 1 day workshop with pre-work

In this workshop we introduce the definitions of employee engagement and the benefits it brings to people and organisations. We also explore the links between engagement, wellbeing and performance. If you have an employee engagement survey we can integrate the framework and findings into the workshop.
Delegates then complete a gap analysis based on the six key elements of engagement (or we use your own structure). This gives your leaders a chance to assess where they are now (using survey data or self-assessment ), where they’d like to be in the future and how they’re going to get there.
FORMAT: 1-2 day workshop with pre-work.
*CMI qualifications are offered in conjunction with our partner organisation: Management Focus.
